I got a job at waitrose as a supermarket assistant in the checkouts and wine department. It took 3 interviews to get it and I get paid 4.91 quid an hour. I'm 18. Keep looking man, I wish you luck.

i got a job when i was 15 (bought a pricy car) so i had to get a job pretty quick, since then ive had 3 jobs that have come with little to no waiting or effort. i live in a town of 62,000 people, so its not too big, nor is it slim pickins'

im 19 now, almost 20. i think its important to start working around 16 because you get a grip with your life at a younger age, its easier to get a move on with more important things, like moving out at 18 and paying rent...

think of the future. and goodluck

When I was 16, I worked at Wal-Mart unloading trucks for $6.50/hr. It was damn hard work unloading two 1200, sometimes 3 1200 piece trucks a night. It wasn't easy, but it gave me money.

Get a paper route job or something. I know around here they combine 2 or 3 routes in one, for about 2 hrs a day, for about $400-$600 a month. Not bad for only a couple hours a day, outside, getting exercise, plus you can get as blazed as you want working. Even 1 route job for an hour a day will give $100-$150 a month. It's better than nothing.

There's only one way to get money and that's to work for it, or sell drugs, but I don't reccomend selling dope.

Ages 15-16-17-18ish Do you have a job??

Ive been around computers all of my life. It just made sense that wheb I turned 16, I started working for the Geek Squad. I interviewed there 4 times, took several tests, and was grilled about my knowledge. After I turned 18 (and after much studying, certification tests, and classes) I took a position as a Special Agent, with came with a raise to about $18/hr.

I finally left there when I was 19 for a job at Kaiser Permanente. It was there I started making a real decent living. I made abour $64,000 a year. They gave me great benefits, and put me through all the courses I need to finish my certifications. Although it was a great company to work for, there was alot of red tape. I really didnt like working for such a large corporation.

It was then that I put my resume online, and was contacted by several headhunters. I settled on the company I now work for as a Systems Engineer. It is a small corporation, really close to my house (I drive under 30 mins each way, and in Cali, thats unheard of), I get great benefits, they pay me a great salary, plus commission on any services I sell and/or preform. Starting this year I should make six figures.

Now I have a beautiful girlfriend (who was with me BEFORE I got the good jobs), a townhouse right on the beach, and drive a brand new car.

The moral of the story? You should take a first job thats going to help you. Alot of people say that your first couple jobs matter. I think thats untrue. If you work hard toward anything, you can do it. Just study your ass off, and really look for that perfect job.

My 1st job was doing landscape work when I was 15 for $4.25 an hour. It sucked and I worked my ass off, but hey it was money.

I got my first job when I was 16 and had it for over a year and when they started treating me like shit I left and it's been a year and a half since I've had a job. But at 1pm today I've got an interview at kohls so I'm hopin I get that cuz it's rediculously hard to get a job in this town.
