Your Granny was right! Eat your fruits and veggies! Diet is more important than you think. Zits are a "civilized" problem. Modern diet causes them! Don't believe me? Watch a travel show where there is a primative society; it doesn't matter where the people live- it's how they eat. Look at the teens, do you see a mess of zits? NO! Beautiful CLEAR skin on every one of them (now look at your friend's faces-see what I mean?). In many of these societies, yams make up the main food source. Yams are high in vitamin A (retinol, the zit medicine, is a form of vitamin A). Vitamin A fights infections and disease. Zits are an infection. Do an experiment- bake some yams (they are on sale now- even in my backwoods area they are just 39 cents a pound), eat some yams and fresh fruit every day for couple of weeks. See if your skin clears up. Yams plus some pie spice and a spoonful of sugar, tastes like pumpkin pie- makes a nice hot breakfast. Good general rules for food-(1) the closer to natural, the better. (2) Avoid white food- as a rule, it has less food value (sugar, white flour, white rice, crisco, etc- milk is an exception). (3) If the ingredients aren't in common, everyday words (flour, meat, oil, etc) think twice about eating it (exceptions are added vitamins- thiamine, biotin, etc). Right now, kids, you are young and have a strong constitution, but what you do now will affect the rest of your life. Eat well, get some excercise, and get a vaporizer. Granny Storm Crow has spoken! (lol)

Fruits: the cure to sickness Notice when you eat too many fried foods or anything bad for you when you're high, you start to feel sick and you have to lay on your bed and wait it out. The solution is to eat a fruit. Apples work the most. One time I was sick from eating junk food from a fast food joint and my friend gave me an apple and I felt better again very instantly. Fruits are good because they act both as your food and drink source. They are juicy which acts as your drink, and filling. Fruits cure sickness Rating: 5
