About choosing when to flower...
So here is what I am wondering...
1) Is there a specific time when the plant is most ready to flower?
-and-
2) Since I am aiming to grow small plants, can I just start flowering when they are the size I want?
-and-
3) Will I lose potency by starting flowering early? (I will definitely lose yield.)Taiden Reviewed by Taiden on . About choosing when to flower... 1) not really
2) your plants must be at mature enough. so when they preflower or the node alternate. anyone know other measures?
3) i've been told/read that older plants are better. but it's not a huge difference

yes the plant must be mature enough to grow flowers befor it can be flowered trying to flower to early will result in your babies stretching due to the long periods of darkness
remember if you want small plants that the plants will continue to grow while flowering
and you should not lose potancy flowering small plants you just get less bud
i think if you want small plants that you can start flowering when ther small maybe try some clones there read to flower as soom as they root and tend to grow bushy and shorter than seedlings
good luck-smokes

when you see calyxes with white hairs(pistils) growing from it at the nodes or you see balls growing at the nodes (looks like a very tiny rose bud with no hairs coming out. Hope this helps
I actually have never grown cannabis, and since it is still stupidly illegal, I would NEVER EVER think of doing such a thing. All that I post here is complete fiction that I pulled out of my ass. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

I would veg for atleast 2 months. I pick this time because basically this is the time some one has recommended to me to take cuttings from my plants. Says the plant would've done all it's needed to do and produce healthy cuttings. So if it's capable of producing healthy cuttings at around that time that's when it would flower my plant. Don't ask how I connect the two but it just seems logical to me
