Didn't you read, it happened in Florida, where old ppl go go retire. Really old people smell funny. Therefore, its not odd to have a strange pungent aroma coming from a house down there. Haha, actually I'm really high atm, don't listen to me.

We've got 6 computers in our house, 2 of which are high powered gaming/media machines. We've got an xbox, an xbox 360, and 2 PS2s. 5 televisions. Oh, yeah, a bigass server that runs continually. 4 kids, each with various personal electronics. On the weekends, all 4 gaming systems and at least 3 computers are running at any given time.

My 400w hps is the least of my worries.

    hey there,
No need to worry kiddies, atleast not in the states.
rule 1.......pay your bill on time
    rule 2.......no spikes don't go from 50 a month to 500.....in May!
rule 3.......don't steal the juice! that will get you caught quicker than anything!!
The power companies know how much power goes out, and the amount of bills paid coming in should match. If it doesn't, there must be a leak, and then my friends, THEY come looking. They come with a truck full of detection equipment, a backhoe AND the police......... believe me.

Good information... Especially in that last post...

Lets say I live in a regular 1500-1800 square foot house, and I want to run 4 lights 430HPS for flower and 400MH conversion bulbs for veg.

I am pretty frugal on my other electricity, BUT, I will just be moving in... So I dont know what the former tenant may have used regularly...

Also, should I put my cabinets in places where a large TV would be? To make it look like a TV for those heat seekers?

In the USA, it depends on the electric co. Many dont care about usage, only that you aren't stealing it, and pay your bill.

My old house, we used on average $300 a month, i forget how many kwh this was, but its ALOT. Hell, in the winter it spikes with 2 - 2500w heaters. Nobody ever cared.
