You ever just been really happy with life for once?

I'm most happy when I'm with my best friend. It's great waking up before her and just seeing how much of an angel she looks like when she sleeps.

I know the feeling.. Last night we were sitting on our balcony, just watching the sun set over the beach. It was kind of chilly, and we had just gotten outa the shower. She was wearing pajama pants, and one of my big hoodies. I just kept thinking how beautiful she looked, with no makeup, her hair pulled back behind this oversized hoodie, and these baggy plaid pajama pants.

some of these comments make me smile, and others make me sad.
Comments like "i was once in love and happy, but not now".

I think love makes us happier because we are whole and we are celebrating our wholeness with another person.

Our happiness shouldnt depend on other people, it comes from within, not without ourselves.

well...not too long ago i was sitting in this giant tree on campus, smoking a joint with my good pal matt. the clock tower nearby struck 12pm and played this wild little tune. i was dangling my legs, soaking up the sun. i realized right there that everything was great.

There have been times, yes, where I get that overwhelming "happy" feeling, like I might want to dance a jig to the sound of my heart beating, but for the most part, it comes and goes in flashes. I'm starting to feel less and less of those, too . . .

It's not like I'm sad or anything, I'm just...here...not really either side of the spectrum. I will admit that this past summer I was VERY happy when I was at a festival. It was 4 days of self-exploration and total freedom, which kind of put things into perspective for me, and always eases my mind.

Some of your posts are heartfelt and true, and it's nice to read such sincerity. ~

Well thank you (if you were talking to me, if not disregard this message). Its good to be a part of a community with such diversity, and at the same time have such a large common ground and not be judged.

Also, I just found out we should be able to close this deal thatll push my salary to almost six figures for this year!! Not bad for a 20 year old kid, eh?
