foul language
i am not sure how this relates to my post...but okay...ill bite..i do not think that one thing a child does is related to people such as stars and such, least of all cursing....i think it is about upbringing and chemical makeup....that simple.............how come i feel like you are bored and picking on me?

Well, this was approached from the point of common decency. Lets try it from another direction......if your a "potential" new user and all you see is punks trying to prove their penis size by how many times they can use the "f" word, well, it's not that attractive. We like new members, want new members and if we need to break out a bar of soap........let it be.
Remember, use and abuse are totally different issues.:stoned:
Have a good one!

Agreed P4b. I dont know why everyone is making such a big deal out of an opinion. If this was a thread about what colour my lighter was, and I said I didnt like red, people wouldnt react this way. Maybe I just see my point different in my mind. Oh well. Maybe I should go email Dr. Phil then go put my depends on and go to bed.

This was a good thread, Princess, and I'm glad you raised the issue. I, too, have been troubled by the overuse of the F word and the lack of respect at times, but I thought I was the only one. This helps me know it matters to others, too. Sure, cursing never killed anyone, Daima, but words can be hurtful at times. And respect does count. Above all, I should hope we're trying to help raise the estimation in which weed smokers or advocates are held in the world. Seems like erring on the side of courtesy and respect more often than not couldn't help but assist in that process. Thanks, Princess, Kiwi, and other concurring mods.

But...but...I like to swear!!! *pout*
Seriously, it doesn't offend me at all when people swear ...only when I hear people swear in front of young children...that upsets me the most. I don't swear often but sometimes, I do actually enjoy swearing. Am I twisted?

i swear alot while talking out of habit but i don't believe that i type many here.i think is is a respect and slight maturity thing.i know that i find it hard to read and respond to posts where every other word is "bad" mainly because when i see that i expect an immature person to be typing about nothing of importance,so alot of good things may go unread.

Amendment I fn2 [ Annotations ]
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

some of you should really try reading a post..I NEVER SAID YOU COULDNT SWEAR..all i said was maybe we can tone it down a little..this thread was a simple expression of my opinion, and you guys for the most part couldnt handle someone having an opinion different than yours...i find that ridiculous...i am closing this thread as it has turned into a nasty pissing contest....i am shocked at some of you here...you want respect but cant give it....ridiculous
