sorry to bluntly state my opinion

but emo music is the epitamy(spelling) of TERRIBLE music.

its not the sound that gets to me, its the message.

suicide, cutting, losing hope.. its just all negativity, and with negativity, always arives another word - unneccessary.


and since this thread's birth, ive snagged some Tool songs.

I used to love tool, cause it was all like "fuck you buddy!" and "i like heroin!" and "YARR LOUD YELLING AND SCREAMING!". And I was all, "my parents hate this, this is awesome." Then they come out with Lateralus, and it was slower, and more complex, and I was older, and growing up. and I'm thinking, "trying to listen to Lateralus is like playing a game of chess with your ear drums."
