You're likely to be worse off using isopropyl because it isn't a gas at room temperature. All of the butane evaporates at like -100 degrees F, so it is completely gone before you even think of smoking the oil. Its no worse than using a butane lighter to spark your weed, hell, you probably breathe in more butane straight from the lighter than the amount left in the oil after you let it evaporate.

Plus, boiling alcohol is very dangerous, especially if you do not have a double boiler. Butane boils off at room temperature, no heat required. Lol, I've tried both ways man, I speak from experience :rasta:

Making Hash Oil i was just curious if anyone knew of a self tested method of making hash oil using alcohol. i have looked aroun the internet for quite some time and havent found the right recipe i as looking for. i do not want to make it using a method involving alot of chemicals and ive seen some where you use alcohol to extract the thc and then boil it off. I was wondering if anyone knew a site with this method or knew of this method itself and could help me ? Rating: 5
