Well if you've seen "PTI" on ESPN, and I'm assuming you have since it's on the same network, you'd know that Kornheiser makes for one hell of a debate. I would agree that most writers probably need more time to think about what they're going to say, but Kornheiser is good at those quick squabbles he gets into on PTI. Plus he's kind of funny because he's so opinionated.

And even when MNF was on ABC, they had those cheesy player-intros where the starters would say their name and their alma-mater, so that's nothing new.

Though Tony hasn't actually stepped out on the field, he's still a good analyst and fan of the game. He knows what he's talking about for the most part. I just wish he would maybe have some more opportunity to get a few words in, but it's hard with those old-timers he's sitting next to. Truthfully, he probably shouldn't be on MNF, but he is certainly better than Dennis Miller, and knows a football from a hockey puck. ~
Its a Plant Reviewed by Its a Plant on . Anyone else think Tony Kornheiser is a third wheel? Monday Night Football, both when it was on ABC and now that it's on ESPN, is constantly trying new angles on their broadcasts. First they brought in Dennis Miller, a guy who had no knowledge of the game whatsoever, and was only there to make stupid comments. Then they introduced that lame camera that rides above the field. Those are some of the worst camera shots. Just stick to the basic view of the field. Then they got players to introduce themselves in the starting lineup. That shit Rating: 5
