    Walt Disney really for children??

I watched Pinocchio last night, sober, and I noticed alot of weird stuff in that movie.. That old dude.. Pinocchio's father, whatshisname, smokes something like three puffs from his pipe when he's in bed, and then he's to tired to open the window, so he asks his cat to do it.. He's got all these clocks on the wall and they all have these weird coo coo things in them.. One is of a woman spanking a child, one is of this drunk man comming out of a bar hikking and another is of a man trying to decapitate a turkey.. lol. The bad guys, that's the fox and his little helper friend, sit in a shady pub with this fat man, and they all drink lots of beer and smoke cigars.. The little helper dude is drunk as fuck, and they start talking evil plans... What ever.. Pinocchio turns half way into a donkey, and then I didn't watch more of the movie, because I was busy with .. err.. OTHER stuff..

Tonight, I watched The Sword In The Stone.. Think about it... Is Merlin really a magician? Or just a tripper.. He smokes out of a pipe ALL the time, and is really disorientated.. When he does all his magic tricks, he's probably on some massive shroom trip, or he picked up lots of LSD in the 20'th century... They turn into FISH, but really, their just sitting in a little pond flapping around, and that big fish that comes for them is the police, so they try to run 'n shit..

    I dunno..

I like the old Disney movies ALOT..

But really, aren't they really for stoners?

Have you ever read "An Underground Education" by Richard Zacks? It's really interesting and I highly recommend it. In the first chapter, it tells about the popular fairy tales that most of us grew up with...really twisted shit. Really...at least check it out.

I think old Disney movies are so much better than the ones now. Seriously, the crap they have for kids these days always has to have somekind of moral value to it. Kids do not care about that. When I was a kid, all the cartoons I watched were violent ones. They were fun to watch. That is what kids need, movies that are fun. Not movies that make you feel like you are being lectured. I feel sorry for the children today.

I agree...some of the cartoons/toys and what not are rediculous. I mean think of the shit we grew up with(for reference I was born in '87)...it was badass!

i agree...a lot of things in old Disney are kind of sketchy or off-color. ive always noticed this (watching Disney movies with my little cousins).

p.s. disney was a creepy mccarthyist chauvenist, i think

A few Disney movies have subliminal messages.

In Aladdin, you hear a voice (sounds like Aladdin) say "All good teenagers take off your clothes" if you turn the volume up at a certain part....I've heard it many many times lol.

In Lion King, there's one part when dust or something floats in the air, and it spells SEX. Saw that one too. Kinda creepy if you ask me.
