Look, I have a relative who has unbearable backpain. He relies on powerful opiates (legal perscribed: percocets, oxycotins, etc.) just to be able to go to work and walk. If it wasn't for these drugs, his life would be more miserable then you could possibly fathom. The same applies to our kind friend in this page. If cannabis relieves her symptoms, what does it matter? She very well be dependent on cannabis but if it makes her quality of life better then when she does not smoke (i.e. if she can barely work, can't think clearly, and is always nausous) why does it matter?

Many people smoke cigarretes, yet I don't see you complaining about that. At least cannabis has many health benefits from it's smoking. Lastly, it's her choice, her god given right (whether god approves or disapproves of cannabis is not the issue here, if you believe) to do what she choses with her life. If she wants to smoke cannabis, a medicine (and a recreational drug/plant) why should we come on here and talk negatively to her? It's not like no one else here doesn't smoke more then they should...at least she uses it for more then a way to get high, at least it helps her live her life better. Shame on you for scolding her.

Lastly, you obviously don't know what medicine is for. Since you like links, take a look here:

To me, it sounds like you don't understand medicine. I'm not trying to sound rude to you, just don't be so rude to her! It's her life, not yours. Let her do what she wishes =) Let's just say, "I hope you get weed soon." instead of telling her that she's terrible and addicted. We're all supposed to be friends, it doesn't sound like her life is spiraling out of control...if it gets to that point then we can all lecture her and bring her out of a rut...right now she's not feeling well and just wants some bud.
