I am just starting to grow, i have everything set up in my room, everything from the lighting to the water system, now all i want to know is, whats the best way to germinate seeds. I heard so many differnt things i dont know how to. Some people say in complete dark some people say they need light and its kind of confusing, if anyone could help me out that would be tight:rasta:

Get a paper towel and rip it so it's 2 layers on each other and altogether equals 4 rips of paper towel. Get a cup and wait until it starts to get warm and cut the water off. Pour some water on your towels and ring it out (or not). Now place one paper towel in the ziplock and put the seeds in, now take the other 2 rips and place it on top and breath hot air in there, I tend to believe it helps . Seal the ziplock up but leave about | | that much unzipped. Now wrap it in a towel or some type of cloth and put it in a dark closed up area like a drawer or something and check in like 24 hours or when ever you feel you need to. When they are ready they will have a white taproot emerging from the seed .

Maybe 1 mm... some people llike to let more root get out but there's a lot of risk of damaging it then.

Because the root tip is fragile/brittle and you can easily crack it even just picking it up wrong.

Me too. I think I killed a whole bunch of seedlings last month because they popped so fast that by the time I checked on them, the taproot was WAYY out there. Damn!

The perfect temperature is between 72 and 75 and you should plant it double the width of the seed.
