i have four four feet flouros... 40 watt
two of them are warm white (3000k) and two are specifcally made for plant growing.

I realize now that that the cool white is optimal for the veg growth stage, so i plan to change to those bulbs before long. i figure while the plant is so small the warm white is sufficient
?
thanks

I put 6 of them in a small covered cup of water and stored in a warm area. Within 24 hours all 6 of them had cracked and had a white root emerging. Planted in schultz soil (specifically for starting plants) about 1/4" deep. Watered and put under 40W flouro in 16oz cups covered with cellphane. its been 4 days and 0/6 have sprouted. Rating: 5
