    my seedlings, no roots??

this is day 10 after planting in rockwool. We have a small heater under the acquarium and some flourescent lights around the tank. Only one cube is showing the first signs of roots coming through the bottom. Any reason you guys can see why these plants aren't bursting out the sides after 10 days?

BTW no nutrients have been used yet, and the lighting is about 40W all together. Humidity has been kept pretty high with plastic wrap on top. I know the right conditions invoke females, I am hoping I haven't ruined that already!

Couple things to think about... one of the things that your conditions are set up for is MOLD!!!! The seedlings need air circulation or they aren't going to grow right and will eventually just flop over dead.
They could use a bit more light too.
And roots not popping out the bottom... if the rockwool is too wet they don't really NEED to go all root-growin'-crazy, they have all the water they can use right in the cube!
For more females, go with a cool-white light. And lots of it!!!!

    Here is the problem.

Cannabis does not need high humidity. Humidity is only needed when rooting clones, and not once the plant has those roots.

Those conditions include lower temps (68-72) for the first 3 weeks of life.

cool, thanks for your help perp. They seem to be doing quite a bit better now that they have been in the hydroponic system with just 1 watering a day for now. We are going to mix in about 1/8 the nutrient recommendation for them starting tomorrow.
