    questions on watering

When the soil is completly dry you need to be watering amediatly. I have 14 seedlings going now and they are on their 2/3 sets of leaves and I give them about10 tea spoons of water a day along with misting. I have them in little 4 packs starter planters and that is a good amount of water for me, if you have them in bigger pots then you need to figure that some of the soil is just swallowing up the water before the plant really gets to use it.
I have these little plastic cups that are eaquivalent to 26 TSP that are helpful for my watering measurements at this point of their growth.

    questions on watering

    heres a good little trick,

water your plant, now pick it up 4-5 times and feel the wieght of it, it should be pretty heavy.

everyday pick up the plant and see how much the wieght changed, when it feels very light(you will notice a huge diffrence) its time to water it, i have yet killed a plant this way or over/under watered it.

you can soak your plant if she is dry just make sure the water runs through the bottom, then repeat step 1 and 2.
