420th post and I want to ask

what really makes you happy? what can you think about every morning that makes slamming your alarm clock and getting out of bed a little more managable?

just looking at the sky makes me pretty happy. spacious and so far out of reach, it's beautiful.. nothing as simplistic as looking at a cloud can be so fulfilling for some reason

but as for a reason with a little more substance, music has taken over my life recently. listening to different styles every day, scribbling chords or lyrics on a peice of paper that i'll date and find weeks later to maybe be worked into a song i might be recording at the time...it really makes life some sweet when you can take bits from your day and turn it into something meaningful


so how about you? what makes you a happier person?

I dunno about other ppl but getting out of bed is ALOT easier when you know your about to smoke! But ya what makes me happy is smokin the green, making some greenbacks, and smokin some more green

The world. Earth. Looking at the sky, feeling the wind, smelling coffee and grass and weed and clean air, feeling the sun on my skin, all of that.
Simple pleasures.
And sleep... I LOVE sleep. It's free, it requires no effort, and if i'm lucky, I get to explore a world with no rules or permanence.
And last but not least, the hope and general knoledge that one day, i'll get high again, i'll fall in love again, i'll expirience things that will make life even more worth living.

i agree with couch potato about the partyin.. (im 19).
but also just having people i love in my life makes me happy. friends family bf/gs and anyone really. knowing you have people that love you and you love them back is probably one of the best feelings in the world. makes you feel safe.

Simple stuff. Like sunsets. Or trees. Or my animals' facial expressions. Or restful sleep. Or hugs. Or just sitting in comfortable silence with my husband.

Material stuff doesn't matter, and so many people don't get that. It's the little things that make me happy to get up in the morning. (But even when I'm feeling happy, I still have a hard time dragging my bod out of a nice warm bed.)
