LED Flowering Ideas I have below a diagram of an idea i had with LEDs, placeing induvidual bundles of 2 or 3 right up to the budsights have this all over the plant as well as appropriate lighting conditions from above the plants as well. www.digikey.com although if you want the really bright leds they are more money www.lumileds.com can get red leds that put out 190 lumens but they are a few bucks each in full reel quantity prolly depending on how many is on a reel probably 1 to 5 thousand

Leds come in certain spectrums and you would need red yellow and blue at certain percentages. basically 5% red, 36% blue and 58 % yellow to get the suns spectrum at noon which is the most balanced light.

It is my non-professional opinion that this is wrong.

There's a big thread of LEDs over in the Advanced section... lots of pictures for you to see people growing with LEDs.

Anything is possible... so yes, you *can* do what you're propossing. Go for it!

As to the above quote, from my understanding, our plants needs red and blue... yellow is not needed. I don't know why we have 58% of yellow in there.
