When you eat in a resturant.
If you can't tip "AT LEAST" 15% don't eat in a resturant.

When you eat in a resturant.
You a waiter, Jagged Edge? I used to be one when I was a kid in college, and I always tip well. It always bugs me when others don't do the same thing if they got good service.

I always tip at least 15%. If service is incredible I'll go as high as 25%.
That being said, if the service I recieve is not up to par with what I think it should be, then I'll deduct it from the tip. If I sit at my table for 15 minutes with an empty glass, well then that waiter isn't going to get 15%.. if my waiter is horrible, I won't even leave one (which is rare.. only happened once or twice).

When you eat in a resturant.
I used to be, now I work in the dish room at a resturant. More work and a little less money, but I don't have to deal with shitty customers. I have waited tables and I usually tip really well.
As for tipping less if the service is bad, I understand. But you have to think about if it is the servers fault or the kitchens. It also pisses me off when someone gets free shit from you for what ever reason and don't show anything for it with the tip. I have given customers free meals before and they still leave a fucking dollar.
Watch "waiting"
Great movie.
Oh and I posted this because I saw a shit load of doallar tips and all change tips tonight at work. It pisses me off when it is a coworker I like too. I would say that is about 75%, I like most people.\"A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.\"

Look, someone is "waiting" on you. They are providing for you. People should want to tip someone serving them well as a thank you. Good service deserves a reward, no other job field beside prostitution has someone act as your slave for the hour or say it takes. Well maybe there are more, but keep in mind, your server is most likely getting paid 2.13-2.15 an hr.
And I can understand if your in another country. I think it's France where they don't tip at all. I'm sure there are other coutries the same. But in america it is socially dictated you should tip. And that my friend is the way it should be
I just thought about Reservoir Dogs. Great movie.\"A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.\"

I think 15% percent is bullshit. If you think about it, the amount of your food depends on the amount. It isnt any harder to carry one plate of food versus another. Or if you have alot of people with you. All of thier food will raise the tip even higher. The waitor or waitress it already coming to that table so there is not really that much more work. I think 5% does it. Maybe less dpending on the quality of service.
