    WHY WONT YOU GROW!

Hey ppl i have potted my rooted to clones in a very good organic mix (think it is terra) the problem is they are not growing,or if they are very very slowly. They are under a 4oo watt sodium.I have not fed them just 200ml of water with root juice. They look pretty healthy in fact one is a bit to green with red stems, but others are ok.This the 1st time using this soil + i also put a covering of diotomaceous stones on top.(could it be this?).I have another 4oo watt rigged up should i turn that on aswell? Please help ppl dont want to lose my babies before xmas!ps i have compressed co2 with regulator but dont normally switch it on till about 2weeks into flowering.

They're probably concentrating their growth on their roots. If they have roots already then you should probably feed them.

Thanks mate, they have been in big poys for a week now.I didn't feed them as it says it has added nutrients in the soil.So you think it would be ok to give them some grow in their water?Usually when i put them in big pots they start shooting up after a few days.Just praying i dont lose them.

that, and maybe lower your light 6-12 inches. that might boost them babies.

i personally rejuv rooted clones under two 48" flourecents (ge daylight) excellent results, as there is no heat emitted from the bulb, so the plants can actually touch the light. you can keep it lower, the plants will grow faster, and more lush.

my clones took a while to start growing after they rooted (roots out about 1 cm radius from stem) They probaly still have too much vegitation for the root system.

some more numbers would be great. How long since they've been rooted
how do you know there rooted.
did you give them any hormones
    pics would be great.

Once they root they need lots of light. but i sounds like they got it. make sure all your variables are in check. Temp, light, humidity, watering. and consider giving them some nutes. very light at first. But then again they are in good soil. I always root in perlite sand a moss. so they need the nutes yours probaly dont

give it a week then start to worry

I use a t5 which is the same. An HPS might be to hot and cause too much transperation and with there small root systems that could be very stressing.

It's 3 ft away eh. WEll remember that for every time you Half the radius the light intensity goes up 4 TIMES. So if you put the light 1.5 feet away they'll be gettin a lot more.

i keep my 400 Watt 15-17 inches away from normal plants. I dont clone under it so i dont know

Hey thanks people really appreciate the feed back. They were rooted through my rockwool cubes.i potted them in small pots for about a week+half. Then repotted them to the big pots.I tend to agree maybe i did it a bit to soon.(but they were rooted).Temp is 75 to 80.Drops to about 60 when light is off.I will give them a mild dose of grow just now +see what happens. As for hormones no i didnt well they have been getting root juice a cpl of times.
