lemme settle some facts. Its not sand, but a product used in the curing process to make the bud cure faster. However, the process leaves residue dust on the bud, and unfortunately also adds to the weight of the weed, so this has lead to some producers using it for that reason alone. I have some bud in my posession at the moment which i strongly suspect to have received this treatment.

however its A* bud anyway so im not too concerned.

i have heard of dealers putting sand in the bags to make them way higher. Feaking idiots. i hate that crap. these would be the same people who wrap up mids into a blue berry blunt wrap and call it "Blue berry dro" oohh i hate these folk.

Adulterated dutch bud is a reality.A large percentage of weed from holland is adulterated with either silica sand or spun sugar and glycerin.It is added to the crop when it is harvested (before drying)to add up to 20% extra weight to the product.If it looks like it is drowning in crystals, better lick a bud to test it.If it is sweet it was sprayed with the sugar/glycerin blend.Not sure about the sand, but I geuss if you rub a bud on glass and it SCRATCHES it then it was cut with sand.
It's not too hard to spot adulterated herb,in a year of running my site, my supplier has only gotten stuck with laced bud once.And it was still plenty potent, just not as potent as it would have been WITHOUT the adulterant.
