Nothing beats the sun and good old dirt for flavor. Soil/sun grown plants have a rich complex variety of flavors, and a different personality depending on how/where they were grown.

Indoor plants can be more potent as they are not subject to the same environmental hazards as are outdoor plants. Also the controlled fertilizer regiment tends to allow the true flavor of the weed come out.
