    instead of pulling them out and risking damage to the other plants, just cut the shit ones off at the base with some scissors and the roots they leave will be good for the other plants

    Imolation sez..."Hey Shovel, Have you tried Bubble Gum before? Let us know how it smokes?"

    I've been growing it for a few years. It grows well and smokes nice. It had been grown commercially around here for 10 years or so It is very popular around here still.

    xxpyrOxx asks if the plants push each other over.

    Yes, they can. If I end up with two females in a bucket then I'll probably move one. And as far as disturbing plants/roots, I've been growing and gardening for a while and transplanting isn't that difficult or harmful to the plant, if you do it right. Actually, cutting the lateral roots with the spade can stimulate root growth and plant health. So, either I can thin them like ADream suggests, by cutting the plant at the soil line or spade around the plant, pull it out and replace the soil.

    week 5

    I just cut off the tops of the two tall plants.

    In the windowbox there were over 40 plants. Here I removed all but 10 without any damage to the remainers. They are on 12-12 and lst. Hopefully I'll determine sex and grow 2.

    six weeks;
    I topped most of the larger plants this week.

    "Last week I changed things around. I enlarged the grow space to 4' x 4'. I put the flowerbox in there with the other plants and added one 250W HPS. The lighting is 18-6."

    The first plant in the flowerbox to show is a male (thought it was female for a minute). I'll continue this grow on my grow thread. Thanks,
