Pay Close attention.
Most people know their rights, but not how to assert them. Enjoy.

you are under no obligation to speak to the police.
never open your door. once you do that, and they walk in, they can always say, you invited them in. Make them break the fucking door, then you have evidence you didnt invite them in.

if a cop ask, "do you mind if i look?"
remember..he/she, is asking because they have too. They have determined They have no real probable cause, so they ask. Dont be afraid to say, no.
If they ask, "why wont you let us?" Simply tell them, "it's my right"...and then say.." Am i uner arrest? if they say, "no", you say, "if that is all, i would like to go now"
They either have to tell you why you cant leave, no, you can leave.
You do not have to tell them where you are going, or where you are coming from.
Dont get mouthy with them.
Always, yes sir/maam, no maam/sir.

Never leave a clip in an opened ashtray.
My suggestion? never smoke while driving, or in your car. When i go up to my cabin i always pull over, take a walk, etc etc. Not only that, some goody two shoes with a cell phone will see you toking in the car and be on the phone to the cops, with your plate number. Be smart
