The stuff I got aint gritty (just chewed a bit) but has got something odd about it, it taste ok though and gets me stoned quite nicely! I saw some weed last week that looked like it had been coated in some kind of fine green powder, it did'nt look good!:smokin:

from what i know, that just means the bud wasn't flushed of it's nutes before it was harvested...

sand blasting? come on dude, a sand blaster would tear the buds into shake, and i'll be damned if you managed to find half of what was your bud afterwards. also, unless you're using a lighter that produces 1,000's of degrees of tempature, it's not going to do anything bad, as it's not going to melt, or burn, if anything, it would just burn off the impurities the sand has collected over time...
