The Biggest Loser
Look, I hate mainstream tv shows with a passion. None of them entertain me. Most of them insult my intelligence, and some of them even insult me as a person. I prefer to spend my tv-viewing-time watching Nova or Discovery.
But last year I started watching The Biggest Loser, and I think this is one of the better shows tv has to offer. Granted, it is a "reality show" and there is still that element of phoney drama, but it's also very inspiring to watch people work hard to change themselves and their lives, and succeed. Whether they win the money or not, they are all happy in the end because of what they did accomplish.
I was pulling hard for Matt last season, and he won. This season I'm pulling for Eric. Hang in there, dude.
I give The Biggest Loser two

I don't know about that show. I mean, those people work their asses off to lose that weight, and they lose like 2lbs a month. They need people who want to lose the weight, not to be on TV.
Exercise and eat right, just like that and the weight will come off. They're lacking eating right and all that painful workout is for nothing.
That's just me though.

Get a new calculator, dude. Those people have good weeks (20+ lbs weight loss) and not so good weeks (4 lbs weight loss).

i went to a gym and gave up all that crap i loved and ate better smaller portions of food and in 5 months i lost 55lbs, its now been a year i still maintain 155lbs and i feel alot better about myself, its a good show and a good way to get motivated to lose some pounds
