man this makes me feel bad.. me and the roomie buy an eighth a day @40 so 20 per day... 140 a week x 52 weeks year = 7280... now its not always an eighth a day but jesus.

Maybe i need to cut back.

Okay lets see: on average I'd say , me and the wife buy about 3 qaurters a payday (sometimes more sometimes less, thats 60x3 = 180 every 2 weeks)( i know why not just buy an oz? when we buy an oz at one time we go through it so much quicker) so 180 every 2 weeks x 26 = about 4,680 a year, but properly more, thats sad............

£200 every 8 days, + £500 for the times i want a little more, so lets add that up.

£9625 or there abouts. It's quite alot, i admit, but i can afford it if i cut back on things i dont need. Stuff like disel i get free from where i work, and i dont eat much expensive stuff, but i always pay the bills first, get the food first,and the rest goes on weed. Put it this way, i aint got much in my account.

Hang on i just read the rest of the posts and some people are talking about growing bills too. Well the only thing i payed for in the last year was a 250 watt MH conversion bulb which was cheap as fuck, and the lighting bills, which aint that much. Never mind, it wont even scratch on what i pay for weed when i buy it.

Couldnt pay the bills for a 2000 watt, and i didnt need it, too much of the light was being wasted.

Lip you spend 10 grand a year on buying weed. You then grow some aswell? You have also said in another thread that you spend 5 quid a packet a day on cigs, you buy 2 packs a day. So thats another 3650 quid. Youre in England so its in UK pounds. Thats 13.5 k a year just on smoking cigs and weed.

Back to subject I go through 1/8 every fortnight at the moment. WHich is a quarter a month. 40 quid a quarter x 12 = 480 quid a year.

That sounds alot to me. And thats only buying 3 ounces a year! If I could grow it I would only have to grow a couple of plants a year.

Yeah, your right, it is alot of money, but that's the way it is for me. Like i said, its not putting me in debt, so i can afford it. I grow about 5 plants at a time, but for my last cuple of grows i've cloned as well.

But while the plants are growing i got nothing to smoke cos by the time i've germinated more seeds and they;re vegging i've already smoked the harvest, so i have to buy as well.

Also for me its not only recreational but also medcinal, if i dont smoke i get really bad head aches, so i need to have a joint every cuple of hours, that's how i get through so much without any problem... I mean, if i aint got alot i'll ration it, but if i've got loads i tend to smoke a little more than i usually do, but because i can afford it after everything else its all ok. And if i ever needed to save a little money for something, i can easily cut right down. Weed comes after everything else, and because of that, i can get as much as i can afford.

Guess im lucky, i get it fairly cheap anyways cos my dealer is a grower and a good friend. His custom base is only about 5 people, im probably his biggest buyer.
