Just a quick question, what are these called?

What are the cords which plug into an outlet, and have a lightbulb fixture on the other end free to be hung wherever you please, called?

Like the ones people have with CFL's hanging around their cabinets, what would I search online to find this product? Thanks.

Clamp lights or shop lights. You can get them at home depot or lowes in the isle where you find the extension cords. They're only like 5-6 bucks a piece and have an 8' cord.

That's the kind I'm talking about.

Is there anyway to get those, with the reflectors that the clamp lights have?

I would have to just hang the lights and the clamp would likely get in the way, thanks.

it's not up sto code but you can actually solder the wire directly to the bulb and it will work. it's a fire hazard but i am just illistrating how easy it is to use cfl's. you could also canabalize an old lamp and rewire it so you have just the socket and wire left. i am a contractor so i know how to do this safely but if you don't just got to lowes and get the socket fot 2bucks like the one in the link i posted previously. i have at least 2 dozen extra sockets but i'm sure you don't want to give out your address for me to mail you some. i wouldn't give out my personal info for a million bucks!!!!!!!! if you live in the us go to any mom and pop hardware store as a first choice(don't support the big corporations if possible) but if there isn'ty 1 around, ace, walmart, lowes, home depot, big k, target, etc. will have what you need! good luck! remember always use wire nuts AND electrical tape for ALL connections. and have a smoke alarm in the grow area ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

That picture IS a clamp light with the clamp and reflector taken off it looks like. I took the reflectors off mine cause I found t hat if you put a bunch close together with no reflectors each plant gets to utilize more than one bulb. The reflectors don't let the light hit more than one plant if you hang the CFLs as close as they should be (2 inches above the plant)
