I'm not necessarily wondering how the tie the plant down, it's pretty simple to tie something down lol. But I guess I was wondering what material would I use and how would I go about tying it to something and then tying it to the plant?

yeah...like a tent....with metal stakes....some thin rope...a slipknot or simply loop de loop
you wont have to tie them down as much because sunlight penetrates the canopy very well
