Question about lower wattage Metal Halide (PICS)

i cant even feel too much heat i placed my hand inbetween it and the top of the plants and it dident burn me after 15 minutes .

Question about lower wattage Metal Halide (PICS) I was able to convince the matenance guy in my apartment complex to let me get a used metal halide ballast and a brand new 70 watt 150M bulb, I was able to rewire the ballast with a vacume cleaner cord i have no experiance with electricity and i was still able to do it, i know this is a very low wattage but my queation is, when coupled with my 4 foot daylight floros how much of a boost will this give my plants, will the 70 watts of metal halide give the plants a little better boost than just Rating: 5
