People have tried petitioning this for years; wake up, its not going to do anything.
I think you all should look back at history. Civil disobedience is a very successful method of changing minds. Look back at the civil rights movement of the 1960's. Martin Luther King Jr. and his followers used civil disobedience to gain rights for minorities. Rosa Parks sat in the back of a city bus and was arrested because it was illegal for an African American to do so. Martin Luther King Jr. knew the laws were rediculous and unreasonable so he, among others, deliberately disobeyed them.
We should do the same. We know these laws are rediculous, so why the hell don't we show it. If we organized enough people around the country to smoke in public all at once, the government would be forced to reevaluate their policy.
