help with cleaning my bowl

i ahvent cleaned(or even scraped) my bowl in about a year, before i switched to rolling joints, it was used about every day. so as you can imagine, its pretty nasty...it really ruins the flavor of a green hit.
anyway, i need some tips on really getting the gunk out of the nooks and crannies. i used to dip it in rubbing alcohol and swish with rice but it still left behind junk here and there. i need a method thats easy and can be done in a dorm room.

is it a glass bowl? if so boil it....but I guess ya don't have a stove in a dorm room...

leave it in the alcohol overnight, add some table salt, and swish it around ... :smokin:

Do this, get a big pan and put your bowl in it. fill it with rubbing alcohol and let it evaporate till it has gotten to your pipe. (you need to fill it to the brim. after that take it out and run water through it. fill the bowl back up and repeat till it is clean. remember to use hot water!

ok so i just cleaned my roommates resinated ass pipe in a dorm room...what we had to do was well, we should hae bought a pipecleaner (like a craft one) to get the nooks and crannies but we used a paper clip instead. the alcohol and salt got some stuff out but it just softened the thick ass resin. so after you soak it go through it with a pipe cleaner

no no no look here bro. two choices. go buy some isopropyl alcohol preferably 91% (the stronger the better specially in your case) and go buy a thing of morton salt (even rock salt) and throw your piece and some alcohol and salt on in a big ziploc freezer bag and shake shake shake....until the resin falls off. choice two, which i perfer but a tad more expensive is to hit your local smoke shop and pick up some formula 420 cleaner(http://formula420.com/content/cleaners.html) which can be im guessing 7-10 bucks? and then go home and use that instead of alcohol and salt mixture. bada bing you pack a green bowl after with your friends and enjoy...
