Black bears are about as threatening as my mother in law, actually less so.

My mother in law was a beast of a woman...hated my guts! But yeah, the grizzly's are the the ones to watch. Even so, I'm terrified of any bear, as any one of them could tear me to shreds.

I'd prefer to not see them at all...
