Somewhat of a reasonable point. Although, before man came along and hunted all the predators to the brink of extinction, this problem didn't exist. I'm surrounded by mountains, most of which are parks or "open space" where hunting is not allowed. We've got a healthy deer population but never have an overpopulation problem. Most likely that's because we've also got a healthy mnt lion and coyote population. They do a great job of keeping the deer and rabbit populations down, not to mention the hiker population
