    Not the Momma??.Side By Side JTR/JCf1 @ 50 days

I have always believed in setting goals, how else is a person supposed to ever accomplish anything if he doesn??t know what he wants? So of the many things I put on my list of things to do in life was to put Jacks Cleaner into seed form so that everyone would have access to her including myself as keeping a strain alive for 12 years isn??t always easy.

I planned to do this by out crossing my mother and then cubing her into her self using the same pattern Brothers Grimm laid out with Cindy99. The first try was with Blueberry and we created JCbx using a JCB off spring but the results were less than the mother so back to the drawing board we went. After the fantastic results we had with Space Queen it seemed like the best place to start and thank god for that pack of seeds Vic sent as the results and what you see before you Jack the Ripper. This first outcross is far easier to grow that the mother and is done much faster with Zero herm traits in the correct female phenotype which occurs in a HUGE percentage! I recommend tossing the taller females as they are SQ dominant but the Lemango pheno is a favorite among many growers of JTR.

Lets take a look at Daughter first

Will she get me what I want?

You may not have heard of the strain Jacks Cleaner, but among collectors of Elite genetics it has become somewhat of an urban legend. This is due to a few factors. The first is I grew it for many years before other respected growers tried it and let me know it was probably the best Sativa Hybrid in existence. In 1997 I had a gathering known in breeder circles as ??Jamaica 1? several respected under ground breeder/growers met at my place and we spent 3 days toking testing talking and feasting on BBQ and southern food. We had a un official judging and JC won every first place vote. Now maybe the guys were just being nice because I tossed the gig but I knew at least I had found a great strain. But where did it come from?

I got my first PC in about 1994 it was an Acer 133 and soon found a great deal of information on Cannabis, certainly not anything like today but it led me to grow chats where I met others that shared an interest for growing. One of the first I became close online friends with was a guy with the nick ??Skoosh??. I was amazed that there was another seriously hard working tax paying Loyal American that waked and baked everyday of his adult life. We swapped stories online, toked while we typed and found out we both love ice cream. He offered me some seeds and over time traded around what we each had. He sent me about 200 seeds of a old strain called Skoosh that was pretty infamous in his circles and I started cracking large treys looking for a keeper. The make up of these seeds were Pluton, Lambs bread, Purple Haze, and Northern Lights. What mix or pattern these crosses occurred I am not sure. Most of what I found was not impressive, super thin spindly sativa??s and mutants with whorled leaves.
I did find a few that seemed normal and grew them to maturity. Of all the seeds I started over a period of a year one phenotype stood out. It was a extremely resinous ultra lemon wonder. It reminded me of a house hold cleaner named ??Mr Clean? So I named it ??The Cleaner?. It had one poor trait and that was weak stems and smaller size. I had not yet read botany and we all thought breeders were smarter than god so it was just luck I had a Jack Herer male from Sensi Seeds that I was to lazy to kill and just placed in a dark garage. It refused to die so I placed a small 12? Cleaner clone with him and she produced about 35 seeds.
From these I selected the best female and tossed all the males. From these was the Phenotype many now consider to be the holy grail of Cannabis, Jacks Cleaner is a large heavy producer with ultra white raised trichomes that actually give the plant a gooey appearance. Heavy citrus with over bearing lemon smell and taste I have yet to see anything like it. In 2003 we out crossed the P1 mother with a JC X blueberry offspring and created JC bx.
This strain won 3rd in Gypsys 420 cup.

I planned to out cross my mother and then cube her into her self using the same pattern Brothers Grimm laid out with Cindy99. The first try was with Blueberry and we created JCbx using a JCB off spring I speak about above but the results were less than the mother so back to the drawing board we went.

Jacks Cleaner shot maybe 5 minutes after the JTR and she entered 12/12 the same day.

You can see in the photo??s that JTR has abundantly more resin per square inch and is much much faster to finish. These plants both entered 12/12 on the same day and you can clearly tell the JTR is very close. I notice the general ambering in lower shelf buds already. You can see in the shots of JCf1 she isn??t even close to being ready in fact she will double in size after day 50 to day 60 incredible resin production hasn??t even started yet but her daughter is just oozing sticky resin and finishing up so fast It makes me proud to be her creator. She Lives!! She will seriously fuck you up to causing many to white out or get those little beads of sweat popping out on there for head.

    BTW
    Nikon Rocks!

    I shoot with a Nikon D-50 and a Sigma 55 MM Macro 1.2:8 Auto
I get the nice macros using a sigma ring flash and a light booth I built using white sheets and painters lamps with CFl's

In 2007 I will get around to looking through JC2 created using JC x JTR male but I may look to this JTR female to work with to create a f2 pool to work with as well. It will be very, very hard to improve on this outcross, JTR as I see every person that starts a pack get a amazing pheno extremely similar to this one.

I wish this breeders cup was more like cannaseur and I could submit breeding data I have the same kind of pictures starting from seed and running through now 5 harvest including the pollenating and such to me this would add credibility to the entries and a few on the 10 best strain list don't even really exist. Bluecheese aint gonna be found in no seeds all I'm saying

I would PM you but since im new to these boards im having a hard time finding out how, lol, if there even is a way. But yeah, hope to hear from you soon. And Great job on your history of cannabis post, very informative! Just wish I could be in the dam this year to stop by your booth.

Correct me if I am wrong but have any previous Cup Winners ever looked like this?
Have any ever been grown in the USA and entered into the High Times Cup(Published in the USA) in Amsterdam?
I am not sure I can do more in a fair fight.
Even if we don??t bring home a cup I have been smoking weed for 36 years and I know I have created something that will be grown out and talked about long after I leave this earth.
