edit, ok looking more closly i can see how you made the seal, but the reducers i get at the depot dont have a lip on the inside were i would clamp the 4" sreen to, do you put in a 4" collar into the reducer to get this lip?

OK, I just got all the supplies from Home Depot and im having the same problem as mellogold, the reducer i have doesnt have the lip/collar on the inside... could you tell me what to buy and how to put it on? is it taped or what? it looks like the end of some non-flexible duct....
