My local hydro store
Went into my local hydro store today to get some more 6inch ducting so i can add it to the outside of my box for venting out of my window. Also got the 2 AC fans today in the mail. I asked him if I should have the 2 AC fans pushing air into the box which means sucking air from outside the box. He said that is not what I want to do, he said for me to put the fans blowing out of the box. Is that correct? I have 2 4 inch holes at the bottom of my box. Should I just put the AC fans in those holes ? do I connect any ducting to them?

exhaust is stronger, so in a sense he is right. i had a box fan in my window blowing fresh air in and my temp was at like 82F, then i turned it around so it was pushing air out and my temp droped down 76F. but some store do tell you to do something you dont have to just to make more money.

if you are worried about smell you always want your fans pulling air out of your box so that your box has a negative pressure compared to the surrounding area and no smelly air leaks out.
