Yes it does matter. If your weed is brown, it's schwag. Color is a big part of the bud. Along with smell, taste, and high.

Brown is bad.
As for the other colors.... they don't matter a bit! Just nice to look at...
BTW purple strains have a rep for being, on average, weaker.

it doesnt matter what color it is, breeders use genetics to cross breed strains,
i smoked thai bud once which was a dirt brown color, but extremely glossy with crystals and i blazed off my ass, check and see if theres alot of triches or not, if theres none then u got dirt swag

Oh Dryst, you're new avatar made me laugh my ass off! And I'm not even high yet.
No, color doesn't matter. Getting brown weed though, there is a good chance it's dirt weed, but saying ALL brown weed is dirt weed is a wrong answer. I have had brownish colored buds that were grown outdoors, it was mostly sativa, and was sooooo potent.
Purple doesn't mean it's super weed either. A lot of purple strains are actually weaker compared to most, despite the few of course.
If it gets you high though, that's all that matters. WQho gives a shit what the next person thinks.
