Yeah. I think they played Big Pimping. But I've never liked Jay-Z. He's very talented but he sold himself out to much.
fikusroot Reviewed by fikusroot on . Phish Well, I made a thread bout them in my past life, but I cant find it, so im gonna make another one Lol! Anyway, I have really been getting into Phish lately, i really only had liek 15 of their songs before I met the network administrator at my school, who is a major pothead, alot like me, and used to do sound for Phish and Trey's solo shit. He made my server space on the school server 5 gigs bigger and gave me about a half gig of Phish, and thats been all i been listening to for a few Rating: 5

I saw Phish with Jay-Z in a magazine once. Musicians don't just listen to the genre they are into, a lot of them listen to all sorts of music. Jay-Z also did work with Linkin Park, who I can't stand, but they are much heavier than Jay-Z.
I've never really heard Phish before, like I've heard of them and even read an article about them, and all I know is they are a really, well respected jam band. Maybe I'll check them out later.

I've been jammin to phish for 6 years now... They are one of the most amazing bands musically and personally that has ever walked this earth. They'll always be one of my favorite bands of all time. They have been a major influence on me and are partly responsible for the easy going, fun-loving stoner I am today. They taught me to take it easy in life. I have all their albums and all the movies they have and a few gigs of live phish shows. They have an incredible personality about their music, and if you watch the dvd's or listen to live shows it shows the personality even furtherly as individuals. As for the dvd's, I strongly recommend Bittersweet Motel for those who are just getting into them, and IT for those who have listened. I've many a times thought of posting a thread on phish to see if there are any other phishheads in here, but never have remembered to do it. Thanks for posting it man, glad to know there are other Phish listeners in here.

I didn't like it. Trey came off more as an aging hippie than he did in Bittersweet Motel. The whole band was having more fun when Bittersweet motel was filmed (which is why the '98 tour is considered one of their best tours ever) as opposed to being tired and ready to break up when It was filmed. They just seemed like a bunch of goofy frat boys in B.M., the kind of people you can't help but like.

Allman brothers band are good muscians, but they lack musical diversity. I still love them though. Saw them in concert a while ago, they're getting old, aren't excited about playing anymore.
