When to 12/12
your right they are very stretched.. you definitly need more light on the side and bottom of your plant.. 4 cfls over 2 plants isnt gonna cut it.. im guessing you dont have the resources to go buy a proper growlight..
so how about trying this.. now as you probably know more light more bud right.. so go down to your local hardware store and if you can pick up some flouro lights (if you can try and get the ones that hold 2 flouro tubes) put one of those over each plant (the more the better if you can put more over the top of them try to ) also remember flourescent lights need to be close to the plants..
second part of the plan is to do some lst'ing on them (no offence but your node growth is piss weak) now im guessing you havent had much expeirience with lst'ing either.. you should try to bend them over to at least a 45 degree angle or lower if you can.. just remember to be gentle when your doing this.. also try and use a few pieces of string or whatever your useing ( does soft string make sense? try useing cotton or something) any try useing a few peices on different parts along the plant so it doesnt put all the strain of bending into one spot (causeing stem staps) it will also help to bend the whole plant and not just the top half.... remember do it slowly bend until she wont bend anymore and bend a little more each day.. and so on and so forth oh i almost forgot.. a little something ive figured out from doing this alot.. say your useing a brick or hooks on the wall (or even duct tape) make loose knots with your string (almost like an open slipknot (love those guys) so it isnt tied around the stem just a loose circle so only one side of the string is touching the plant) and secure them onto whatever your useing to hold them down making sure you can pull the slack when your bend them... anyway bend the plant over the direction you want it and pull in the slack so it is tight..
now with those 4 cfls you should use them along with the flouros as side lighting 2 for each plant... and they should be happy
Now if your not willing to spend any cash.. ive just wasted about 10 minutes of my life lol.. but it would be more than worth it to veg for a while longer bend the plant and let that node growth get alot bigger before you even start thinking of flowering... dont worry mate you will thank me in the end..
Try your best to get more light over those two they need it despritely (sp?) and be careful when lst'ing your babies.. with more light, a little care and a waiting a little more time the rewards from your babies will be much greater than your looking at now (maybe some popcorn fluff if your lucky) this is all you have to do to be looking at a nice little harvest....
holy crap.. that was realy hard i hope you use this info.. time for a nice big spliff.. meh fuck it ive said everything else.. if they are the same age the little one will probably be female and the big one a male.. just from noticing with most of my grows the bigger plants usualy turn out males.. but dont go ripping it or anything thats just a guess.. anyway good luck with doing all that time to light this spliff..
