I actually saw a program the other day for rehab, JUST for video game addictions.
That is so sad, what's really sad though, is like 98% of the people are males. Is the male race that lame that we need rehab for frickin video games?

Girls aren't any good at video games, so they don't get addicted..

No, girls aren't lame enough to spend that much time playing a video game.
I personally don't play video games much. Not my thing I guess.

It's a massive, intricate, and lush world with tonnes of things to do, tonnes of quests to conquere, an entire online-civilization of which you swear allegience to, and a group of online friends you get to know over several years. While I don't play it (my friends do), I can comletely understand how it would become a person's entire world, and thus cause addiction. I mean in your mind's perception, which world is really more real? Which one is better, has more success, more control over your life there?

Man, I bought Rome: Total War and I can't even play it because my video card sucks so much ass. I want to play WoW but I'm afraid it might not work on my computer. Maybe at some point I'll splurge on a new video card, but right now I have more important things to pay for first.
By the way, I used to play Runescape. I was level 108 before some punk hacked my account and stole everything I had accumulated. I'll never play that game again.
Hackers and cheaters have ruined online gaming. For every great invention, there is a great fool who fucks it up.![]()
