DID YOU VOTE?!
*sigh* well, this is how I see it...
We bitch and we complain, yet people don't vote because they don't think it matters.
Let me tell you, I don't necassarily agree with everything the democratic candidates believe...but as far as I am concerned, it is MUCH better of the 2.
Sure I am more of a green party/liberal...but if I were to vote for anything under those than it would give more to the republicans.
..and all I gotta say is FUCK the republicans.
...alll you people that bitch about our government, yet what are you doing? Sitting on your asses doing nothing about it.
EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS..and we are getting just THAT much closer to a better society. Maybe....

I don't know a single party that represents all my interests.
As far as I can see Rep's and Dem's are the only real choices right now. If you're like me, you vote to make change, and sometimes change is slow. My contributions would be useless had I not veted Dem.
The Green party seems great, but it will be a while before they start winning elections, imo. You work with what you got, man.
Thats my take,

I voted a week and a half ago. We always vote early. And I've never missed a single election, from local up to national, since I've been of voting age.

thats my problem, i dont like voting the lesser of two evils. and if you keep not voting for the third party, you arte just keeping us in a two party system, and as there are more than two ways to look at things i really dont think thats a better society, i think it is the same society, well have democrats again, theyll fuck up, well have republicans again theyll fuck up and so on. until people start just completely discounting third parties and assuming the system can never change. i admit my vote counts towards who owins(except on president, where they proved in 2000 they can just pick the winner), but i dont think my vote is a step towards a better society.

well you can blame the government, if they we3rent waist deep in corruption and hadnt been my whole life maybe id have some faith in them. i hate the two party system, like i said i regret not voting for the green party, ill start voting for independents and third parties soon unless i see a republican or democrat who seems like a human being capable of independent thought that doesnt make a shitload of promises they dont keep just to win. unless george washington rises from the dead and runs again. but he was a two party system hating independent anyway

Nor do I, but sometimes you have to take a 'realistic' view of the way things are, and the way things are going to be for a while. The Dem's, although many are more conservative this election, will someday grow more liberal as our society slowly loosens up. Then, other parties like the Green party will actually have a chance. Until our society starts embracing more liberal ideas, they will never have a chance of being elected, which is why I think, the Dem's are the best choice we have to work with. A vote for Green is a Replican vote in my eyes.
