i started out with 6 plants. as soon as they broke through the soil, i put them under a 400 watt mh bulb (stupid as hell, i know).. needless to say, the plants started to get skinny and shrivle up due to the heat.. 4 died. 2 are still growin, but the leaves are a little yellow.
so i went out and tried to look for some fluorescent lights, but the store i went to only had ONE fluorescent light. its a 33 watt long tube aquarium/grow light and gives out only about 470 lumens. would this be suitable for the seedlings to grow untill vegetation, and then i put them back under the 400 watt. or do i need more lumens? i should also note i put some mylar around the plants for added light, soo any advice would be great !
