HID for free!?

well, i am anxious to get an HID for my plants, i have found a 1000 watt Metal Halide fixture on the side of a buildings, several of them at eye level, my question is, has anyone ever tried to get a free be by taking a street light? how hard is it to rip it down from the wall? would i be able to rewire the cords to a 3 pronged plug?

at the very least im gonna bet the bulb, the plastic cover comes rite off!!

Maybe the store can afford to replace it but karma's a bitch, baby.

Maybe I shouldn't tell you about how esay it is to get seriously ZAPPED, HARD, stealing building fixtures.... Nah.

sorry about that, my friend is also trying to grow he sometimes asks questions under my name hear, i just read his post lol u should of told him to do it, id like to see his reaction when he is electricuted LOL

If you can't afford a HID you should think about a CFL grow or something, because to do a HID 1K grow you are going to need things that do cost money and arn't as easy to still as a building light, like inline fan, scrubber, decent nutes, rotating fan and hood just to name a few. I also agree with Stinky as well.
