Question about air Pumps..
I am a new grower and this summer comming up I want to start to learn hydro. I plan to learn with tomatoes. I am thinking of tyring a bubber system for the simplicity of the design.
I ahve read a bit about hydro on the thread but I can't seem to find exactly the answers that im looking for with regards to a bubbler system.
To grow in a 3 to 5 gallon bucket how much pressure should my pump have? Or should one pump run two buckets?
And is more pressure the better? More Oxygen better growth, makes sense. But is there a point where to much is too much. If I buy a pump that puts out too much air it that going to be a problem?
These are the pumps I have easy access too.

The store is really close to me. I assume I want the smaller pumps located at the bottom of the page.
Are aquarium pumps and tubing the same as these displayed? Or should I find these supplys at Home Depot?
Any help is greatly appreciated

Question about air Pumps..
That looks like a decent dual outlet pump for $24.00. 5 gallon buckets are not deep so you really don't need a lot of pressure. You could run multiple airstones from each outlet.

Question about air Pumps..
Sounds like you're doing DWC...
I think that flood-and-drain is the cat's ass when it comes to DIY setups.
For oxygenation, I had the table up pretty high over the res and as the drain -um- drained back, the nute solution gained oxygen.
Plus using hydroton pebbles, there's TONS of atmospheric movement around the roots anyhow.
Just my two cents, for what it's worth... probably a penny or so!
