look and smell can be so misleading

The weed I used to get was always big, round, compact, nice looking buds. They were always potent as hell to. When I smoked it though I was never to impressed with the high. It was always 100% of a head high.

Now I recently changed guys, and the stuff I'm getting now doesn't look very impressive at all. It is rather leafy, hardly any crystals, a bunch of orange hairs though, and very loose, flatter buds. Yet the high is so much better. I would say the stuff I picked up today is about 65% body high/35% head. Maybe it is just I enjoy more of a body high, I'm not sure, but I am much more impressed with what I'm getting now.

I have included a picture of one of my current buds. I had to take it with my phone as I'm not sure where the cord for my camera is. So it is a very shitty picture. But to me, it doesn't look like good kb, yet it smokes very well.

I just don't know anymore...

The looks may be misleading (especially when you claim bs looking weed to be bs, it usually doesn't work the other way around though lol), but I can't recall the last time the smell has led me in the wrong way .

I've bought weed that smelled like dirt, but would straight knock you on your ass.

The looks may be misleading (especially when you claim bs looking weed to be bs, it usually doesn't work the other way around though lol), but I can't recall the last time the smell has led me in the wrong way .

I'm not saying the stuff that looked great wasn't good KB. It was very fine bud, it just seems what I have been getting which always looks like the above picture and smells like pine trees, seems to be a much more powerful high. I was looking for a picture of my old guys weed, so I could post them both and ask which everyone would rather smoke, but was unable to find one. I'm sure most people would say the one I used to get though.

Well, what you were getting was Sativa, what you're getting now is either Indica or a Sativa/Indica mix.

I personally like Indica better too, as I enjoy the body high much better than the mental high.

Outdoor grown buds look VERY decieving. They look like dirt weed, but they are very potent, if grown right and free of male plants.

I hate the weed you get that looks amazing, but turns out to be a chemical filled, non-flushed buds that are so harsh to smoke. I had some Pineapple strain from Vancouver while still living in Alberta, and the buds looked so good and so potent, but the buds weren't flushed and they were nasty! Pissed me off. It still got me ripped, but it was such a chore to choke down bong rips, which it shouldn't be.

Oh well.
