Are you talking about songs to get stoned to in general? or were you refering to the palm desert scene that kyuss started with tuned down guitars and progressivem trancy rythems? Queens of the stone age are bascialy the best stoner rock band, or any rock band, on the planet. (The lead singer/guitar god, josh homme, was also the guitarist in Kyuss.)

If you dont have they're live DVD, then you should deffinetly get it. Its called "over the years and through the woods." Come with a cd and dvd of they're amazing preformance in london. Theres like 3 hours of music on it! theres also old live shows on it with dave grol playing drums and even billy gibons from zz top playing 'burn the witch' with them. awsome concert dvd.

wow no more than 15 minutes after my post i sat down and made up a song, that could fit into the stoner rock catagory... although its also very experimental sounding, cuz its all composed with fruity loops Studio 6... check it out, i think you all will like it.... its called Electronic Rock N' Roll

As for Kyuss, I give you permission to slap me across the face for hearing of them but never listening to them. I'll check them out right now And you gotta love Queens of the Stone Age. Millionaire has been my favorite song for a while now.
