OK so i have to take a pre employment drug test in the next few days( not sure when yet) but does anyone know what kind of test or if their is a specific test that stores like best buy, circuit city, ect. use? and if any one has taking one of them before, what exactly goes down? Ive never been tested before and the last time i smoked was last tues. oct 31... Im just like freaking out because ive been looking for a job since the fucking summer and finally have a good chance at one and theres a fucking obstacle in my way. any help welcome

Employers have a wide range of tests they can perform on employees, it kind of depends on how much they want to spend. Many like a 5 panel(5 drugs usually THC, cocaine, PCP, opiates, amphetamines) test but they can test for 6,7,8,9,10 or even more. They can go with urine or saliva or hair. If it is urine they can add tests for dilution or adulteration. It is good that you ask about the test so you know which kind (urine, hair, saliva) but as far as which drugs they are testing for, if all you are doing is pot then you can almost bet your ass any test they perform will include pot.

yea all i do is smoke bud. Lets see everyday for close to 3 months untill tues day with random 3-5 day non usage in between. SO pretty much the only way is to just have a few gruling days of running(sweating) drinking lots of water and hope for the best? im not sure when it will be some time this week i am geussing.

Aerobic exercise is great but stop severals days before the test of the extra metabolites you are burning up will end up in the specimen cup. Drinking lots of fluid for days before the test will not help. Drinking lots of fluid on the day of the test is a different story. What is your height and weight?

im 5'10" 139lbs, I just went out an bought an at home kit...( fucking $13.00 )
and im gonna use it the day before as insurance. they have not called me back yet for the second interveiw( and drug test) so i still have today an tommorow till i even know if im gonna be hired. If they dont call back ill just go somewhere else but all the retail stores around here drug test, so ill just have to see. Ill keep you updated. Thanks for the help so far:thumbsup:

yea, well i decided to take the test today(the at home) and well it was iffy. The line was not very solid but in the pic it showed buth soild and faded were neg. so i geuss it was negative for thc. so in the next few days it might get better. Also what would happen if i did take it from the employer and failed?
