Bad (Or More Like Nonexistent) Salvia Experience

A couple weeks ago, I ordered one gram of 15x standardized Salvia extract from wellcoolstuff.com. It came in the mail today, and me and my brother were pretty excited to try it out as the most intense "drug" we've ever done is cannabis, and cannabis isn't very intense compared to most stuff out there. So my brother fills his bubbler with ice-cold water, we load up about enough for one good hit, I torch it and hold the smoke in for about 25 seconds, then exhaled. I sat patiently waiting for something to happen, but several minutes later I just felt a bit buzzed, probably mainly due to lack of oxygen to my brain. It was my brother's turn next (he was going to be my trip sitter but I obviously didn't need one) so we loaded the bubbler and he hit it just like everyone advises - torching and holding it in for 30 seconds. No effects.

At this point I'm extremely disappointed at the fact that I'm missing out on an intense psychological spiritual experience and that I spent $30 USD on absolutely nothing. But I'm not giving up yet, so I load about 1/5 of a gram into my steamroller, torch the fucker and attempt to own myself with this hit, but I exhaled after 20 seconds or so (couldn't hold it in any longer), and felt NOTHING. Now I'm sitting here half an hour later, with a fucking fried brain or something, because that's all I feel at the moment, wondering whether or not I will ever in my lifetime be able to experience the full effects of intense psychedelics.

I'm thinking of going to a pharmacy right now and picking up some DXM-only product and consuming at least 500mg of DXM, in desperate hope that my body will allow me to trip, or feel the amazingness of a more intense drug, because I'm questioning whether or not I can experience something to that degree.

Try taking a few hits...I've heard a lot of people say that's what they did. Also some people say that it just didn't work for them. Or buy a higher extract. I paid 12 bucks for 15x on eBay and it worked on my first hit with a Bic lighter and I only held in for 10 seconds...so maybe your shit is a dud.

BTW...there is no 'amazingness' to DXM...its fucking gross dude...try some MDMA or shrooms...they always work lol.

Is it standarized or non-standardized? If all else fails, put it all in a bowl and blaze the shit out of it till you trip. You can take more then one hit, ya know. As for DXM, is 500mg a safe doseage that will make you trip, never tried DXM...
Or is that the same stuff in Robotussin?

I took 3 huge hits. If that didn't work, I don't think any more will. And 15x standardized should be potent enough to put me in another world.

And I would love to try MDMA or shrooms... if I could get them from a trusted source, which unfortunetely is not the case. I'll be taking the DXM gelcaps, so I don't think it will be that gross.

Standardized, as mentioned in the first sentence of this thread. Sadly, I smoked more Salvia than I ever intended to in one go and didn't even mildy hallucinate.

500mg of DXM might get me to the 3rd plateau, which is where hallucinations can occur. I only weigh 110lbs though, meaning most people would probably need at least 600-700mg to reach a 3rd plateau DXM trip. I never tried it either, but I researched extensively on it.

Yes, Robitussin contains DXM, it's the main ingredient in just about every cough suppressant out there.

No...I meant the FEELING is gross. You don't feel good. When I was younger I took like 200mg and I was way fucked up...soo good luck with 500mg cuz you'll be out of it for a long time. And by fucked up, I don't mean in a good way, trust me. It's a retarded way to go my man, just stick to weed....its actually more intense than a lot of drugs out there.

I've heard a lot about DXM, and most people seem to enjoy it. I just went out and got two containers of Robitussin CoughGels, 15mg DXM in each pill, 20 pills per container, 600mg of DXM total :dance:. This should be fun.

I did. I kept the flame on it for the entire time I inhaled. I think I might need a torch lighter.

BTW, I found out that a lot of people actually don't get effects from Salvia, and some only get effects occasionally. I guess I'll have to try it a few more times.

Ya..its not really fun...

but if you ever plan to buy Salvia again....I got it off eBay and it definitely worked so try that. BTW, salvia is not really 'fun' either. Its weird..kind of like DXM..weird..but not good weird.
