Nug Jug, Jar collecting, FREAK!

Ever since I became an avid weed smoker I have also become very interested in JARS and Nug Jugs of all sort!

I have baby food jars....I have little sampler jars(Don't know what they are called..but my friend makes a tea drink and sell its and sends his samples in these awesome little Jars)..I have a Mason jar in all sizes!..
..

HOWEVER my VERY FAVORITE nug jug in the whole world is quite an odd story..
...I recieved an old Jewelry box from my GREAT GRANDMA..this amazing oriential influenced awesome little jewelry box...and inside was the most fabulous little nug jug. A TINY short little glass jar thing and the lid is red and adorned in little designed in silver....
Looks like maybe it was for makeup at sometime?

Either way, I will NEVER let this little nug jug go....
...or any of my other weird jars for that matter.

Everytime I see a cool little jar, I WANT IT...I NEED IT!!

Another favorite Jar of mine I stole from my grandma..its a mason jar...faily small..with a lid that had fuirt and flowers on it...and the glass has fruit and flower designs too....I had a fight with my friend over that one!

Anyone else share this obsession of mine?

i use little pill bottles for my buds
not mids only headies go in these pill bottles
keeps them fresh but still allows them to dry out a little bit to make breaking up easier

I love little jars. At the lab, we have all sorts of cool vials and tubes, but the best jars come from old cellarholes.

My 'travel' nug jar is a little cobalt-glass octagonal jar that has 'Noxema' stamped in the glass on the bottom. I dug it up in my back yard last spring when I was re-doing the garden. I found a nice lid for it at the lab, a period black bakelite lid that came off an old chemical bottle and is about the same age as the nug jar.

This could be a cool thread. Talullah, got pics? Jeez I can't believe your profile says you're only 21... you look much more mature and chilled-out than that!

Pic#1 is some of my glass collection; in the bottom R corner there's an aluminum film canister that I keep my pipe and a couple buds in when I go canoeing.

Pics#3&4 are my fave nug jar with some homegrown in it.

Yes..I am only 21..but don't get me wrong, I am very chill ...anyway PLEASE keep in mind that I am away at college and my jar collection is all at home for the most part. This is just my skimp little jar collection that I brought with me.....Oh how I love jars and nug jugs.

Anyway here is the few I have here(please note my favorite on all the way on the left!!!)

spice jars work really well you cant get empty ones unlabeled for less than five dollars. they are glass and designed to not let things dry out to much but dont get them too moist easier hell they are designed for storing herbs. i dont use one myself but i traded one for a hitter one time. problem is they are a little bigger than a pill bottle and dont fit into a pocket all that comfortably.

i got a french jar from french head shop ---it gets seriously tight
and yea i love to scrape out the left over larf and eat it ----love that taste
i dunno why it looks so blurry ---
i always see cool jars at flea markets and swap meets...even antique stores and they are always cheap ---

Here's a pic of my collection of ginger jars.
Sometimes when I have too much weed I hide nugs in them... and then when I'm dusting, I find them later. It's kind of stupid but feels like when you go in the pocket of the winter coat you haven't worn in m onths and theres a twenty in there!
