To top or not to top - PLEASE HELP

Right, ive got 2 WW showing premature flowers, one has pistals and the other doesnt, not sure if it aint opened up yet or if its male, but there is time to tell. Anyhow Due to a couple of reasons i want to be harvesting around xmas/newyear. There about a foot tall bob on side growth and looking good overall. There under a 600watt HPS so im looking for some good buds .
Due to time i cant VEG them any longer and there now on a 12/12 cycle with early flowers.
If i topped them would i have an increased yield than if i left them?
which would you say would be best with the time ive got.

I would not top after switching to 12/12.
You can bend them over though.

dont top if you are flowering. it will stress them out and it will stunt there growth. IE less bud

if u top them u r going to do nothing but lose a main bud site, topping is to get more shoots to grow for more bud sites, its not going to have enough time to develope the extra shoots especially not with 12/12 light. u will be doing nothing but limiting your bud production. and overal plant size.
